Rain

Rain

The film that I have just watched is entitled "Rain". The film starts out with a man lighting a match and then swallows it (is that physically possible?!). Then he blows out the fire from his mouth to light up a candle. He then takes the candle and places it on top of a shelf to illuminate the entire room, he goes over to his table to resume what he was doing. He then starts to carve markings onto a piece of wood. He then brushes the wood shavings off it and places it in a bag with the rest of the items he made. He continued to create similar things til the candle ran out. Then he takes the bag, puts out the candle with his fingers and goes out the door. He poured the items onto a wheel barrow and brings it near a tree where the leaves have all withered. He digs a small hole in the ground and takes one item (which is actually a tombstone) and creates a small grave. Then a leaf that had just fallen from the tree and was picked up by the man and placed into the grave. And in the end it rained and showed a message " it rains because the universe weeps for all the fallen leaves of autumn".

This animation was created by Simon Streatfeild. The applications that he used was Wacom, the animation was very great throughout the film. Because the caricatures were well drawn and the transition of the pictures were flawless. Overall I would give it 4 out of 5 stars because of the excellent animation and good story.
